Valuable Experience

Gain experience with subjects valued by the robotics industry such as motion planning, robot kinematics and dynamics, manipulation, and machine learning.

Variety of Robotics Topics

Example project areas include bio-inspired sensing and control, haptics, automatic control, dynamics, swarm robotics, prosthetics, or human-robot interaction.

Hands-On Experience

Program concentrates on building experience with actual implementation of both hardware and software systems; we want graduates to be capable in the real world.

Interdisciplinary Projects

Projects will be in direct supervision of pre-existing research programs involving departments such as EECS, BME, ME, and Neuroscience. Additional collaborations available at RIC and Kellogg.

Expert Faculty

Small program size facilitates direct supervision and collaboration from world-leading faculty in a variety of engineering disciplines.

One-Year, Full-Time Master's Program in Robotics

The Master of Science in Robotics (MSR) program is for engineers who want to work in the rapidly growing field of robotics. Roboticists must possess a depth of knowledge and experience in a broad array of fields. This one-year program, offering an MS in Robotics, is designed to prepare students possessing an undergraduate education in engineering or computer science for an exciting career in the robotics world.
