CRB Members and Former Student Receive the 2021 IEEE Control Systems Magazine Outstanding Paper Award

In December 2021, CRB members Randy Freeman, Kevin Lynch, and their former student Bryan Van Scoy, and co-authors Solmaz Kia (UC Irvine), Jorge Cortes (UC San Diego), and Sonia Martinez (UC San Diego), received the 2021 IEEE Control Systems Magazine Outstanding Paper Award for their paper "Tutorial on Dynamic Average Consensus: The Problem, Its Applications, and the Algorithms," published in the Control Systems Magazine in June 2019. The paper was recognized among papers published in 2019 or 2020 for its impact on, and benefit to, members of the IEEE Control Systems Society.
