PhD Student Sylvia Tan Receives the Inaugural Mechanical Engineering Graduate Mentorship Award

Sylvia Tan, PhD Student with the Colgate Lab, is one of four mechanical engineering department recipients to receive the inaugural Mechanical Engineering Graduate Mentorship Award. This award recognizes PhD students in the department who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to excellence in mentorship, providing guidance to either fellow PhD students, MS students, undergraduates, high school students, or a combination of these groups. The award selection was made by the faculty committee of Graduate Studies based on nominations from PhD advisors.
